Content comming up.
Why did you even make this before you had content?
Why did you even make this before you had content?
Maybe, y'know, so that nobody else makes it before him? Still silly honestly but we'll see.
Maybe, y'know, so that nobody else makes it before him? Still silly honestly but we'll see.
Game has been announced months ago, it's not like everyone will suddenly want to create the TM2 thread.
wanna give a few screenshots or something?
Ubisoft is going to do something to screw us over, I'm worried.
this is what happens when you give ubisoft indestructible cars.
Maybe, y'know, so that nobody else makes it before him? Still silly honestly but we'll see.
I don't care who makes this thread first. I just don't wanna make a thread and fill it with content to find out someone else just made it.
wanna give a few screenshots or something?
Added some screenshots, a trailer and some gameplay videos.
How much is it going to be?
How much is it going to be?
$25 / £20
I'm afraid the same thing is going to happen as with Driver where every once in a while until release we find out that Ubisoft has shat on it somehow.
Why is everyone so worried about a goddamn Trackmania game? They're PC born and raised, with a competitive scene to boot! I'm sure this one will be great just like the others.
I love the TrackMania series, one of the most fun racing games around. Definitely looking forward to this

Will it be on Steam? Probably.
Well yeah but it's published by Ubisoft and after all they've done to Driver you never know.
Developer =/= Publisher - Ubisoft is not directly making the game themselves. If you watched the videos, you'll see the gameplay is not different. Which is awesome.
[sp]That's not a link to TrackMania², now go change your pants[/sp]
[sp]That's not a link to TrackMania², now go change your pants[/sp]
It is and i just changed my pants.
Developer =/= Publisher - Ubisoft is not directly making the game themselves. If you watched the videos, you'll see the gameplay is not different. This probably doesn't even have Ubisoft's DRM because It's using it's own service ManiaPlanet for authentication and even if it gets delayed, deal with it, it's PC only so it won't have the Xbox first problem From Dust and Driver has.
Why does a bunch of things that I want have to come out during my first days of university :(
Shut up already and get off the bandwagon.
It's not a bandwagon because there are genuine reasons for hating Ubisoft...
...I don't get it, what are they actually releasing for £20? Just the canyon environment?
I'm pretty sure Ubisoft won't fuck this one up. See this thread: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1116331-Trackmania-2-Will-Not-Contain-UbiDRM [editline]12th August 2011[/editline]
...I don't get it, what are they actually releasing for £20? I waited for it so long, and it's finally there! As owner of all the parts for PC I'm going to buy it ASAP. This is going to be fantastic!
I saw the release tag, and I thought they had released this environment for free to promote the full game.
Hope that there is the option to have clipping in multiplayer. As in you can switch between a race without clipping and a race with clipping so you can shunt your opponents into stuff for hilarious wrecks.

When everything is moving at 1000km/h over EXTREMELY tight jumps, having to move around everyone else would just be a clusterfuck.

Because I knew people would flip out if I said remove the no clipping.
