I don't think the game is still as popular as back in 2009
It isn't but it's still good.
I fucking loved this game...
For a single playthrough with three of my friends.
Then it got boring.
Anyone with a PS3 looking to game with me?
I don't know why I sold this game... Damn me and my instant boredom :( It was so fun, and Scooter was my favorite Character in the game.
"Hey, don't be shy now! C'mon! Catch a Riiiiiiiiiiide!"
Anyway, I haven't even downloaded the DLC. Is it worth it?
Yeah.
I just sold this game for $25.
Fun for the first playthrough, then it just gets repetitive.
The entire storyline was so depressing, the ending made me want to fucking jump off a bridge.
EDIT: Also, throughout this entire game, I wonder where this 'treasure' is. I mean, you find money in random containers here and there, but this game severely needed good treasure hunting.

This. Needs more variety in it. I still enjoyed the first playthrough though.
What's actually about all the trillions of guns. I always thought the game was well, not good.
When I found 2 identical "random" guns this game was ruined for me
I still played it though
Level 22!
Any got a save fresh out of firestone they can send me for pc?
Gonna kill Mad Mel, won't post for a while cause I'm doing it.
Lets see if this megathread makes it to page 3
I like how the story for the game is a single sentence. It speaks LOADS about the game
Completed it yesterday.
TRIVIA: the last boss looks a bit like the opposing force gene worm.
Honestly, the last boss was pretty easy compare to some encounters in the game. But I liked the game played it a lot last few weeks. I picked Brick, at first I didn't want to play as him, but friends took all the other and I didn't want to copy someone else. But he turned to be fun. Felt good to rush in a battle and punch the shit out of everyone.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Game crashed while I finished Mad Mel, he died then it crashed.

Did Mel.
I bought it on Steam during that sale for like 10 dollars with DoD:S. It's okay, great with friends though.
The game was fantastic up until the ass end, of course. I'm disappointed the devs didn't do more cinematics and cutscenes. Had they developed it for a single player experience and then shifted it towards 4player, it would have been superb. The concept is great, the execution was great, but it was so unpolished. The characters not moving their lips, the generic way to gain quests, etc. If they had elements of different RPGs or even a cinematic FPS it would've been great. One can always hope if they make a sequel, I suppose.
I hate this game, it was so annoying.
Jesus there is a lot of refrences.
Sledges shotgun = TF2 force - a - nature.

Considering Borderlands was made by Gearbox, the resemblance is hardly uncanny.

They said they were inspired by it in an interview
The thing that pissed me off the most, is the fact that i can't finish the third dlc because of a map glitch. I'm on the last mission, and it fucking freezes during loading for the last map! :argh:

at first sight, though i could see some similarities, i couldnt really see a resemblance.
I had fun for a while but got boring and repetitive around level 30. Was not worth a full price tag IMO.
I'm considering getting this. But I've heard generally negative reviews about it.
