There is always an argument about what is better, "Call of duty" or "Battlefield". Well i got some game play from both games and i want you to post your personal favorite game and tell me the reasons why you like it or don't like it. Post what you look forward to or what you want or don't want to see in either games. No point in arguing or sharing opinions, because it will start a flame war and to be honest both games are good, but like what you like that's fine, just don't say one is better then the other.
Oh shit, here we go again.
Both looks fun.

They are games you have guns you shoot people it's in the 21st century the end
Oh god, this is not going to go well. Also, neither game is even released yet, and besides, both these series have very different gameplay, trying to compare the two is rather dumb.
It's a matter of opinion. You can't compare the two, as the game mechanics are totally different in both of the games.

BF3 is an improvement in the BF series, MW3 is a carbon copy of the other MW games and black ops My vote goes for BF3
I like the Battlefield genre because of the focused presence of vehicles. The maps are big because of the presence of vehicles. The action is more dynamic because of vehicles. Since the scale of the map is so large, the different routes you could take to reach a certain objective is so plentiful, that you could always experiment with new ways of completing objectives, with different challenges as the enemy team will not always be doing the same things either. I like CoD because you get action the moment the game starts. If you want to just go around shooting people, CoD would probably be a good solution. Because of the killbox style of maps, it is incredibly easy to run into someone and put your skills (or latency) to the test. Both games have their drawbacks, however. And these drawbacks are closely related to the features. Battlefield games, being so large, do give you a long wait time between fights (in comparison to CoD, mind you). The pacing can be good, as it gives you breaks, but sometimes the enemy is one step ahead. Maybe they are more accurate, or maybe they are just generally REALLY good in a certain vehicle, to the point of completely overpowering your team. From there, it can become a wait fest leaving small opportunities to stem the tide, but more often than not, you will be ground into dust. CoD games also have a flaw with their feature. Being a small killbox, and being so easy to run into someone, you have less chances of catching your breath. The only time you can take a break and generate a situational awareness is when you're dead, and then moments later, you're thrust back into the chaos. Since it is a small killbox, most of the routes merge together, leaving you with a large amount of T intersections, and since the scale of the map is so small, more often than not, there is someone waiting at the end of the T intersection, which you will have a 50:50 chance of an opportunity of engagement, rather than a shot in the back. Because the pacing is so fast, there are people that try to take breaks by camping, which is the downfall to the killbox. Suddenly, that small map turns into a massively denied area that you have to fight tooth and nail for progress through. Personally, I prefer Battlefield series more as the pacing is more towards what I like, and the scale of maps can provide multiple opportunities and styles of play.
bf1 and bf2
Uhh...
I like both, when I am getting pissed about doing long tactic shit in Battlefield I just go over to Cod for some mindless fun  Battlefield seems like the better game overrall but since when did outdated games didn't make fun? You know what I mean?
My vote goes for bf3 because it's actually something new, rather than the same as the last 3 games. However, you can't really compare the gameplay elements, seeing as they are both pretty different.
Who cares which is better, I'm getting both games.
I like both Call of Duty and the Battlefield series but after playing the Battlefield 3 Alpha Test, it's safe to say that Battlefield 3 will most likely dominate Modern Warfare 3. The sounds, the lighting, the effects.. even if it was just an alpha test, it felt like a finished game in some aspects. It's hard to say with Call of Duty, all we have is footage.
The two are incomparable.
I guess I'm the only one that's not going to buy neither of them.

thanks for quoting the whole thing
they both suck, Soldner is where its at!
I'll be happier with Human Revolution, Skyrim, Saints Row 3 and Mass Effect 3 than I would be with Generic Shooter 2011
bf1 doesnt exist.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlefield:_Bad_Company BattleField Bad company = BF1 sorry for the mistake
People that say you can't compare these 2 games because there so different are very stupid. They're both the same genre. They both are a military-based game. They're both placed in modern time. They have very similar weapons. The only thing thats really different is one is arcady and the other is focused a little more tactical. These games can very much be compared to one another and in my opinion I'd pick BF3 just because I've been a battlefield fan since 1942 came out.
That's like comparing Jarhead to Black hawk down, one's about full blown war while the other has weird elements in the movie but not fully focused on the war.
The main difference is that BF3 uses a new engine with a lot of new stuff, while MW3 uses and old engine, reuses everything and added a couple new weapons and killstreaks.
I prefer Call of Duty in general over Battlefield because the gameplay is a lot faster, the movement is smoother, and I prefer the twitch style gameplay. I also hate vehicles in multiplayer and CoD has no vehicles save for tanks in WaW. Battlefield is too slow for me, the movement seems sluggish and the I don't like the feel of the guns. If replying to this take note I play on 360 rather than PC.
I like battlefield better than CoD but I don't want it to be so awesome that all the cod players move over to battlefield and fuck our shit up. and if my friends start being "battlefield is so cool!" I would be so pissed because I already told them that since 1942.
