I have heard of People Rigging games so there on PC Such as Mario Cart 64. Where am i able to download these? Anyone know?
Rigging... games? If you mean playing older console games on a computer, emulators.
Pretty much, but I have seen it done without emulators. I was like "No way?!"
How about you GOOGLE that yourself?
Download Project64 then download a ROM of a game that you own. You can now magically play N64 on your computer.

its called using a monitor as a tv screen wow
Only way is emulators and roms.
its called using a monitor as a tv screen wow
it's called emulation [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] wow
its called using a monitor as a tv screen wow
You don't know what you are talking about.
Please note that emulators and ROMs are a form of piracy unless you own the original console and game. I own a PSX and Spyro the Dragon: Year Of The Dragon, so I can legally use emulators for them. The only real advantage of emulators is higher graphics options you can't get with the original console, like higher resolutions and anti-aliasing, as well as easy access and custom controls.
what if you own a console that plays it? Say you own a PS3 and want to do a run of Akuji the Heartless or something, could you use an emulator for that?
an official mario game on pc? never gonna happen as long as you live
an official mario game on pc? never gonna happen as long as you live
If Mario Kart: Source releases, this point will be moot. That's probably not going to exist within the next ten years. 2. If you own the console and the game, then yes. If just the console, the ROM is still illegal. Bit of Trivia: It generally takes about 32 times the power of the original console to emulate it.
If Mario Kart: Source releases, this point will be moot.
No, it wasn't Mario Kart Source isn't an official Mario title. Therefore you're point is far from moot.

Emulators are perfectly legal, obtaining the ROMs however are not.
I thought there was a grey area concerning older games (N64, PSX, and older) since the only way to get them is buy purchasing them used since they're no longer being sold and the console is no longer supported. VC and PSN ports excluded of course.

I feel like I'm 100 years old after reading the OP.
It'd be cool if Nintendo actually would get off their exclusive horse and release their games on Steam or something, but oh well.
I feel like I'm 100 years old after reading the OP.
Yes, because computers existed in 1911.
