Oh man, RA2 kicked ass. I could never make any good robots though, so it kind of lost its appeal. I'll have to try it again now.

Holy shit this brings back memories. I made a giant megathread about this a while back, due to most of the forum having determined it was abandonware in a previous thread I included a dl link for it and I even made a guide on how to build a basic robot.

I hated the other one, think it was v1. My bot was crap.

I once made a robot that damaged enemies by frontflipping on top of them with a momentum glitch. It was called porcupine and had spikes all over it, even on the bottom. Good times.

This is not a rip off of Robot Wars / Battle Bots / Robot Axe Flinging Crazy Monkey Fight. Building robot servants for the purpose of destroying other robot servants is a [b]sport[/b]. They are called combat robots.

I still have that on my computer, too bad that the network play was laggy and really buggy. And some people had cheat-bots meaning they used so many parts it just spazzed and killed everything or crashed the game. Still, it'd be nice if there was a new FP server.
