My friend actualy has the same problem, its realy annoying indeed. But i dont know how to fix it.
i just can´t figure it out, every other game runs without any problems :zoid:
Try using a 64bit version of Java.
Then install optimine.
If that doesn't work I have no idea.

Burn baby burn!
I'm confused, how is any of this stupid? I'm running with a very nice laptop, on 64x Java (no optimine) and my fresh copy of minecraft runs like an epileptic man in Vegas.

Idiotic elitists with Alienwares are always funny when they complain that their overpriced horse shit doesn't work well.

The reality of the situation is that any new Alienware or XPS laptop would infact easily be able to play minecraft at a decent framerate, so it does come down to config.
Also, although prebuilt "gaming" desktops are overpriced as hell, alienware and xps laptops are not unreasonably priced.
