• Rockstar Games and porting to PS3

I see that Rockstar makes exclusive content for some of their games for the PS3. I could only understand that they like Sony. But why the hell are all their games running so horrible on my PS3? GTA 4... Red Dead Redemption... I mean, seriously. sometimes when I'm playing RDR on my PS3 I get about 15 FPS in singleplayer. and when I'm in Multiplayer I get extremely smooth performance? sometimes I feel like I should buy an Xbox 360 to enjoy rockstar games. Anyone have any ideas on why the fuck they port for shit to PS3? When I buy Max Payne 3 for my PS3 it will probably be the same problem.. EDIT; why was I rated a box? Is it because I don't know why they can't make games look good on PS3? My nutsack is tingling of a troll.
Maybe you need to clean out the vents? I had no problem when playing Rockstar games on my PS3.
Probably because the only person at Rockstar that knows how to use OpenGL ES 2.0 properly is a chimp.
X360 is lead platform. Then they sloppily slap it on the Cell and tape it together. I'm not fucking about with you.
I sometimes have framrate issues with RDR on my xbox, I think it's because they're pushing the consoles to their limit really.
Rockstar games seem to be the only games I ever have problems running on ps3, gta 4, not so bad, but terrible fps when there are explosions. I've been having problems with rdr for some reason lately, the sound keeps cutting out and I can't see the menu text, which is apparently because of the disc, I see one tiny scratch on the disc and I doubt it fucks the game up that much.
I'm still confused as to why RDR looked slightly better on the 360. I never really noticed a difference before reading this article.
I remember having some framerate issues during one of the RDR missions when there was a large amount of explosions. Was the first and last issue I had while playing any game on the PS3. Judging by that comparison, Rockstar's idea of Antialiasing on the PS3 was blurring everything on the screen, and here I was thinking it was a result of my bad TV
GTAIV chugs a bit on 360 as well, but at least you guys got Red Dead Redemption. I'm praying that they'll actually do some kind of decent job on L.A Noire for PC. Rockstar's quality ports es #1 after all.
I'm still confused as to why RDR looked slightly better on the 360.
