Comment What You Want In The New Microsoft Flight Due To Be Released In Summer
I'm hoping for some fast threads
I didn't even think Flight Sim X was that good.
Then again I prefer games with more gameplay than simply flying.
[sp]Also it probably won't be on Steam so forget about it[/sp]
I want the game to stop pausing after a collision or crash and actually have some damage models. It's not like they have anything better to do, so why not add damage models.
FS95-98 had crash models... well more like the plane shattered like glass.
I've got a feeling they're not going to glorify crashing planes in this post 9-11 world. Sadly.

What the hell does Steam have to do with anything

Battlefield 3 is all the flight sim I need!

He's saying that, for some incomprehensible reason, he refuses to buy games from anywhere other than Steam.
I think a flight simulator with a decent economy system and RPG elements would be cool. Sort of like Gran Turismo or Forza but for flying planes. Start with a crappy Cessna, get paid to fly people around, earn more money, upgrade to better planes, become a commercial pilot, or something.
Hoping:better optimization, backwards compatibility with mods, an actual weather system, better helicopter controls, and of course keeping the same level of realism
Expecting: the opposite

Awesome idea!
Would quickly get boring though, sadly.
