is there a need for a separate thread each and every time?
is there a need for a separate thread each and every time?
I dont know but every-time he makes a thread all I want to do is try this game.
is there a need for a separate thread each and every time?
I make a new thread for every EVENT, these aren't megathreads about Fallout Online whatsoever. They're threads to get a group of people at the same place for a social event. If you don't like it, don't read it. And every event is very different in nature.

The don't like it, don't read it argument is dumb too.

It's an MMO... a never-ending consistent game.
something that never ends is in progress verdict: stop posting this here
Well whatever you think is true, that doesn't change how many pecks a woodpecker pecks in a second of pecking some wood.
Well whatever you think is true, that doesn't change how many pecks a woodpecker pecks in a second of pecking some wood.
what the fuck does that have to do with anything
why same types of threads always man.
Hey hey Caviano, how about a couple of tips. Make a 'Fallout Online Events' thread in Games in Progress, structure it like a megathread. Make a post in the Fallout Megathread everytime a new event goes up for your thread in that one thread. What does this do? Prevents people from derailing your new thread(s) everytime by legitimately complaining about it, which is something you should aim for (the preventing part of course). Plus, a helpful word of advice, from your previous thread: [thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31693224/New%20Vegas/notcool.PNG[/thumb] This kind of attitude is going to put off people from playing with you, a simple helpful comment would've been satisfactory. Remember, not everybody will know about this and if you haven't made the information clear enough in the OP they have every right to ask harmless questions.
Well whatever you think is true, that doesn't change how many pecks a woodpecker pecks in a second of pecking some wood.
Plus this, you aren't even helping your own reputation. [editline]12th August 2011[/editline]
It's not a game in progress. Otherwise, I would. It's an MMO... a never-ending consistent game.
Food for thought. Generally speaking, it is an MMO. However, you are organising a meetup of Facepunch members for events. These types of things are what the general populace here would call Games in Progress threads. You shouldn't take the sub-forum name seriously. [editline]12th August 2011[/editline] In fact you seem to overreact to even the slightest off-topic post, just from looking at your previous thread. Take a breather, turn a negative into a positive, don't add fuel to the fire and come out the better person.

I, unlike many of these folk here, read the rules and obey by those said rules. While I and you abide by them there are many who forget a VERY important one. And if I may quote: "• Don't reply to threads just to be an ass. Be constructive; or don't post at all." You have been constructive.. Everyone else has just been an ass. I don't feel the need to be polite to asses. Nor should anyone. Respect for respect, pay it to earn it. Kudos to you. The finger to the rest. Now if anyone is actually interested in participating tomorra, get levelin'!

Everyone here was legitimately complaining about your poor thread placement, not being an ass. Maybe you should listen to those complaints and try to fix the problem, like jechtman said.

But again you go and break the rules while I continue to promote a game. Oh well.

OH really? So what level are you?
did you also read the rules for games in progress???
This is the Games in Progress forum. You can use this forum to organize multiplayer games with other Facepunchers. You could do this with a "Let's Play..." thread, or perhaps make a thread for a server of your own. There are a few rules to keep in mind before making a thread here:

did you also read the rules for games in progress???
Yep, I just understand that General Games Discussion is a more widely used sub forum, and more active. Brain at work. Your posts still seem to be horribly off-topic, let me get it on track again: Can't wait to shed some blood on the battlefield!
