Half life 2 beta NEED HELP

Hey everyone,
I was looking on YouTube and came across some videos about half life 2 beta. It sounds interesting and I tryied to download it but it's hard to find. Then when I found it and downloaded it, it came in a .rar file and I don't know what to do or where to put it.
PLEASE HELP!

Thanks, got winRAR, opened it up and there are HUNDREDS of files,
now what?

Just extract the .rar files to your desktop till all of them are put there as well, afterwards extract the anon-hl2 from 001.rar to the desktop and wait for it to finish. ??? Done, you can now delete the .zip or .rar containing the beta and the other .rar's on the desktop in the Trash Bin

I hope you aren't running 64bit Windows by the way, the leaked engine doesn't support 64bit memory addressing and will not start.

Backup your hard-drive, get your CD of Windows 7, and reinstall Windows in 32-bit.
Then, play the beta.
