Ok well I woke this morning and ate breakfast and all that stuff, played garrysmod for a bit and me and my friends went out after that, I got home about a half-our ago and I went on steam and I noticed that it said one item downloading, so I went to my games library to see that Counter Strike: Source was there, i thought maybe it was a glitch with steam or something so I went to my steamapps folder to see if it had actually downloaded CSS, yup, the CSS folder is in the steamapps, with all the content and everything, I'm assuming that if someone were to gift me something then I would get a notification or something, but I got nothing, so I'm confused as to how CSS ended up downloading itself onto my computer o.O... all I know is that I got CSS for free, which is awesome. also I checked my email to see if I got an Email from steam saying "thank you for your purchase etc..." and there is nothing there either... I'm just really confused

What does it say if you go to "[your account name]'s account" at the top right of the store tab?

And now you won't get a halo hat in the new CS
nevermind, I restarted steam, and it just disappeared :( the CSS folder is still in the steamapps folder

but now my Gmod isn't working, I start it up, the loading screen comes up, and then it goes to the desktop, but the blue G icon is still on the task bar, but gmod never starts up
thats the new update that fucked everything up
GMod is broken right now, thanks to the new engine update.
