It sucks, go home Get it on Impulse if you have a disposable income here
Just PC? [editline]05:38PM[/editline] Or PSN, XBL, and dare I say it, Wii whatever too?
It's called Fort Zombie is an action-RPG and it's being made by Keberos, the people who made Sword of Stars and some other games.
Kick ass.
It's coming in Autumn and will be available for all major digital-distribution systems.
ALL of them. (PS3, 360, PC)
Hmmm, looks a bit...boring.
And then they're going to fuck it up. Just track it, and tell me I'm right by the time it releases.
:iia:
Concept great, graphics... not so. Were the pictures taken of a screen playing the game? They look pretty bad. Although why haven't they done this for a HL2 mod yet? Surely combining Source-Forts and Zombie Panic would be doable?
By looking quick at the pictures, I can only say I don't think it looks fun.
I think it looks awesome.
Eww... the shadows look terrible. Way to dark, too sharp. Shadows tend to be light and smooth. Not to mention there's something about the colors that makes it... hard to look it, but I can't quite pin down what it is. Concept sounds great though.
Two possible scenarios: They're going to fuck it up, or they're just going to abandon it like every other fucking game with potential. god damnit.
Needs at least ten times the amount of zombies
Two possible scenarios: They're going to fuck it up, or they're just going to abandon it like every other fucking game with potential. god damnit.
I doubt it, they've made great games in the past. It's not like there some brand new company with unrealistic goals. [editline]04:59PM[/editline]
Needs at least ten times the amount of zombies
Not way more but maybe a bit more, I don't want it to be another game like Nation Red. [editline]05:00PM[/editline] By the way, the town system is partially recycled from one of their other games so it's pretty much done and working, that seems like the part that would take the most work. [editline]05:14PM[/editline] Also I don't know how old/new these are but I found some really different looking screenshots on the official site:
Can't decide if I want this or not. Guess I'll just hafta wait and see if it's good or not. Although if most of the town is randomly generated and the gameplay is pretty good, seems like I'd buy it.
Looks sweet.
No co-op? ...
Also from the forums:
Like all kerberos gametech, the Nstar engine is data driven and hence reacts well to modding.
They can answer more questions then me. http://www.kerberos-productions.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=30
Looks good but those graphics are quite behind the times
This actually sounds fun. Most barricade systems are "Hey guys look lol. I can push props around. lol nao zambees cant get in."
The reason games that are good are abandoned, is because if they release anything good our standards will go up. Then they can't sell us shitty games and get away with it anymore.
Graphics hurt my eye but concept is good.. I'll see.
For a second I thought that you got to play as zombies. [editline]03:31PM[/editline] And I bet it would be better like that.
interesting concept, I guess I'm one of the few people who don't care if the graphics are "omg sexy".
If this has multiplayer too, some Facepunch I am legendesque zombie survival sounds hawt
If this has multiplayer too, some Facepunch I am legendesque zombie survival sounds hawt
I doubt it has multiplayer but it's always a possibility.
I doubt it has multiplayer but it's always a possibility.
If it doesn't have multiplayer, I won't even bother.
it sounds like the perfect game for multiplayer.
Graphics remind me of ArmA 2 with all settings as low as possible.
I don't really care about the graphics, I happily play old games and have a better time then if I were playing Crysis. Or those pixal art flash games, which are clearly not made out of cheese.
