Steam just crashed cant get back online steams site is down. Did someone leave another candy bar on a server?

Unsure if this is announced or not, valve would announce something like this. Only plausible reason is that its an attack or worse, somebody blew something up.

It's down. I figure some sort of server failure or maintenance, as usually server banks have power backups, so it is likely the servers are either fucked up or it's long maintenance that somehow didn't get published.

Sorry guys, I think it was my Big Picture crashing downstairs that caused it
I can log in from a web browser just fine but I'm unable to do it from the steam client itself
Now the password reset works, but the actual client will not log in at all.
