I am pretty new to making timelapse videos :) But here is some "Tests" that i made.
I used MultiShot mod to take a screenshot every 3 seconds, then put the pics in sony vegas.
Castle:

The town one is really cool. Nice work.
Protip: I shoot real timelapses, and a good tip is to shoot 3x as many frames as you need. If you comp it together using After Effects, time stretch it to 30% the length, and then enable frame blending... it uses the excess frames as motion blur data to ensure silky smooth timelapses. And the final output should still be the same duration. Adobe have a free 30 Day trial of After Effects online, Vegas might have similar features. Look into it.
So you mean i should take one picture every second instead?

Yeah, which would initially give you footage 3 times as long... but you shrink it by 3, and blend the excess frames.
