I wanted to get back into CoH recently, and wtf, F2P.
Now I feel like my hard earned Peacebringers, Warshades, Widows, and Spider classes don't look like "Wow you have those!" and more like "Wow you spent money" to people, and thats a shame because thats what made those classes fun! Also, the Auras and capes are the same deal! Wtf!
Why go f2p and ruin a game? Now I can only have 7 toons and not use the other 20 I had >:(
Plus I want to use time control and the archetypes like MM which on unavailable to me now, so any one else have opinions?

I came to this thread expecting Company of Heroes, forgetting it's in the MMO section.
Rift isnt F2P.
If you pay a sub you get your stuff back I think. There's a thread for this game, you can ask more in there.

So basically, you don't like F2P because it might affect how people think of you for having something?
Also, I'm fairly sure those character slots and archetypes, etc, are still available if you sub, so you didn't lose anything. You had to sub to get them before, you have to sub to get them now. I don't see the problem?
