[release]HellMOO is a post-apocalyptic MUD (multi user dungeon) focused on RPG-like progression with an hilariously dark overlay. I'm sure many of you are aware that this game exists and several months back it was shut down. This spawned off shoots such as HateMOO and things like that. However recently the game was officially revived and the intent of this thread was to welcome back old players and hopefully attract new ones. The game has about an average of 50 players on at any given time and I wish to expand this number as this game is loads of fun and should be enjoyed by more people.[/release]
[release]There's plenty to do in HellMOO. For example, the first enemies that you train on are orphans. Depending on your mutations (yes there is also radiation-based mutations in the game) you can: Burn them (with your brain), slash off their head, freeze them (with your brain, still), grab them while another player beats them senseless, bash their skull open, and rape them. (if you're into the kind of thing.)[/release]
[release]Since this is indeed an RPG-like game, the skills you can develop and use are as follows:

Locksmith

Medic

Scavenge
Hack

Blades
Clubs
Throw*
Chemistry
Linguist*
Fuck*
Fish*
Sneak*
Torture*
Whips
Track
Teach
Persuade*
Science
[I]*These skills shouldn't be tagged (selected) as starting skills, as you may only tag 4, and these skills can be taught by another player easily. It is optimal you get skills that will benefit you the most at the start, such as Blades or Fists.[/I]
If you're having trouble selecting fighting skills, I would suggest Pistols and Blades as they both utilize reflexes and dish out great damage, or if you're going to be a brainy character, tag whips and get some reflexes as these are fast weapons but don't require too much reflexes.

[release]One last foot note, I'm aware there is another thread that I believe is recent, however that thread is for discussion of HateMOO, which is an off shoot of the official game. Aren't there 2 versions of HellMOO as of now though? There is the official HellMOO and MadaMOO if I recall correctly.
Is grinding still removed in this version, or is it back in? I missed being able to grind steadily away at a skill day by day, I don't get the new system at all.

Yes there are two versions, hence this thread. Also I kind of dislike there being two different versions, a unified community in one game would be optimal. More players, more corps, more fun. :3
