We're doing this by live streaming us playing our favorite games (that are also fun to watch), for a full [B]TWENTY FOUR HOURS[/B]. That's right, one whole day. We will be streaming on Justin.tv on [B]December twenty second[/B] [B]starting at 12pm EST(-6)[/B]. We will have a wide array of games going from a wide array of systems. between us we have almost every major system after the NES. We all have a wide array of tastes and will be playing a wide array of games, from NFL blitz to Jamestown to Mortal Kombat, And we would be ecstatic if you would join us in our cause. And while you're there, sling a chunk o'change at some sick kids(good for the soul). There will be a full time tech team as well as a full time commentating desk that gaurentees hype and entertainment and a quality stream. [/release] [release][h2]What is Child's Play?[/h2] (from the child's play website) Since 2003, we’ve set up and organized Child’s Play, a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in our network of over 70 hospitals worldwide. Over the years, you as a community have answered the call and come together to raise millions of dollars. Child’s Play works in two ways. With the help of hospital staff, we set up gift wish lists full of video games, toys, books, and other fun stuff for kids. By clicking on a hospital location on our map, you can view that hospital’s wish list and send a gift. Child’s Play also receives cash donations throughout the year. With those cash donations, we purchase new consoles, peripherals, games, and more for hospitals and therapy facilities. These donations allow for children to enjoy age-appropriate entertainment, interact with their peers, friends, and family, and can provide vital distraction from an otherwise generally unpleasant experience [/release] [release][h2]What Games Are you Playing?[/h2] We have about couple of games planned out, but we will be taking suggestions for games to play. Just PM me (structure the title like this: [B]Name-game[/B]) and if enough people vote on the game, [B]WE WILL PLAY IT.[/B] However, if during the stream people find the game boring, we may move on to another for the sake of joy and wonder (:( ).
