• Orcs Must Die! - "Spike traps: they're like catnip, but for orcs!"

#1 trap-defense/orc-genocide simulator. If you don't know what it is then prepare for this variety of media I'm about to shamelessly copy and paste:
Orcs Must Die! challenges players to defend fortresses under siege. With a wide variety of traps and weapons to choose from, Orcs Must Die! dares players to find the best ways to hack, launch, flatten, gibletize, and incinerate an endless army of filthy orcs and their vile allies. Orcs Must Die! features a vibrant look, addictive gameplay, and a blatant disregard for the welfare of orcs. - Play as the War Mage and defend 24 fortresses from an enraged mob of orcs and 11 other villainous monsters. - Choose from a selection of 6 weapons and magic spells and 17 traps that hack, launch, flatten, gibletize, and incinerate your enemies. - Upgrade your traps, spells and weapons to cater the game to your personal play style. - Cleverly combine traps and spells for higher scores on the leaderboards. - Expertly wield your wits and your weapons through the story-driven campaign and unlock a brutal “Nightmare” campaign. - Replay fortresses endlessly, combining different defenses and tactics every time!
Launch trailer: Among the warmage's tools is a trusty crossbow, a bladestaff, magic, archers and, of course, lots and lots of deadly traps. With every victory you're rewarded with another device of orc annihilation. I highly recommend this game to anyone with an endearment of carnage and trap planning. Orcs Must Die! is out now of Xbox Live Arcade (1200MS) and is coming to the PC ($14.99) on October 12th.
Wasn't this coming for PSN as well, and was going to include local co-op? That'd make me buy it. Now, not so much.
I tried the demo, it's pretty fun !
Woah! It's like an really good interactive tower defense/defense game, definitely getting it.
I liked the demo a lot and I love tower defense games so I'll probably get it.
its like a hack and slash towerdefence
Tried the demo, saw the dance, buying it.
Tried the demo, saw the dance, buying it.
I played the demo, I thought the game was fun, but when I saw the dance... OH MAN I REALLY NEED TO GET THIS GAME
The only thing missing from the game is...Weapon upgrades.
The only thing missing from the game is...Weapon upgrades.
and some multiplayer.
The only thing missing from the game is...Weapon upgrades.
There are weapon upgrades
Give it multiplayer and I'll buy it for my entire block.
There are weapon upgrades
I can't seem to find them.. How far in the game is it before you get them unlocked?
Give it multiplayer and I'll buy it for my entire block.
Check out "Sanctum", 10€ on Steam. Combines FPS and tower defense, but has a very different style and I remember that it at least supports 2-player-co-op. A lot of different towers and enemies, generic weapon upgrades, overall looks a bit unpolished graphics-wise - but you can create your own maze for the mobs and has a couple of different maps. Only watched a Let's Play by chance once, but maybe you'll like it.
Like sanctum more because of coop, if they added 2/4 player in this game I would be tempted.
I dislike Sanctum but I like this. :v:
Looks pretty good, will try it.

Not sure if should preorder Or just buy it later.
no WH40k jokes yet? fukkin xenos!
Got it, only got to play 1st level, pretty cool.
Loved the demo, probably going to preorder it later. Anybody know if the preorder hammer is simply cosmetic or makes an actual difference?
I can't seem to find them.. How far in the game is it before you get them unlocked?
A bit into Act 2 I think.
no WH40k jokes yet? fukkin xenos!
Why should we be doing WH40k jokes again? I don't see their relevance.
Why should we be doing WH40k jokes again? I don't see their relevance.
because orc(k)s
because orc(k)s
What, it's not like WH40k invented Orcs. Especially not Orcs. Seeing as they are spelled with a k in WH40k.
What the shit There was a open source game with this exact name about defense on a site about learning C++.
I've tried the demo. It looks easy, but interesting and fun. Gonna get money and buy it.
