I had no expectations for DNF, but for Brink I had a ton so I felt more disappointed with Brink than DNF. But I respect splash damage for trying something new rather than doing the same old same old that the vast majority of games do nowadays. I expected much more, but came away with much less. It makes me feel that if splash damage had another year or so they could have worked out a lot of the kinks.

Although I found from the whole Brink fiasco that there are a lot of hypocrites who say "we want something new" but then when something new comes along they don't like it for being too different (although Brink suffered problems other than that). Then these people subsequently whine about how CoD "kills" innovation.

this is exactly what I feel about Brink. The trailers and all the tech demonstration pictures of SMART movement was so awesome then the game itself was terrible

I had no hype for DNF so it was just a 5/10 for me

Portal 2's soundtrack is much better than skyrim.

Skyrims great, but it's nothing interesting or new, portal 2 had EXCELLENT music, and on top of that it came in at the perfect moments. (Like when you're using the faith plates and it plays that little tune that gets more awesome as you complete the puzzle)

You have to remember they also added split-screen to the multiplayer. It was chosen for best graphics not best multiplayer.

I know but the multiplayer is still a part of the game, stuff like just doesn't make sense to me like when BF3 gets these amazing reviews even though they talk about how bad the story is and they just ignore 1/3 of the game for the final score.
