Alright. Now if you're familiar with Faceposer, you probably know that its impossible to do the whole "phonemes" thing on Vista due to Speech SDK and Valve not wanting to fix it.
You probably know that the community made a fix, something including the Steam Vista gadget and a dll.
And, for a moment, I believed that this fix actually worked. Until I actually tried using it, and got mixed results everywhere. On the TF2 faceposer: tells me I need to set my speech recognition to UK, even though its already set. On the EP2 faceposer: crashes upon clicking load model. On the HL2 faceposer: crashes upon selecting a model to load. On the other faceposers: says it loads a model, but all it gives me is a big and empty nothing.
So, Facepunchers, I ask you: is there a solution to the Vista/Faceposer problem that, you know, works? Please?
Not that I know of.
Though doing it manually gives you way better results.

But its a pain in the freaking ass, and you know it. Not saying I'm lazy, I know it gives me better results, but so does automatic synching.
I know the fix, but I can't find it at the moment.
I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks!
Solution : Get windows 7

That would be a great solution, if the problem didn't happen on Windows 7 too.

Or read the OP and notice that I used that and it still didn't work.
