This is the third major recruitment drive that I have been involved in. Erepublik is a Massively Multiplayer Socio-Economic Role-Playing Strategy Game. You live your life in huge world full of citizens and each player lives a life directly affecting everyone else's. Whether you want to be a Business Tycoon, Military Leader, Politician, News Reporter or any mix of which is up to you. People fill all aspects of society including Country President. All the players play in the same game world, under the same politicians and for actually competing companies. By joining and playing along side facepunch, you get to work toward a large goal that can have a huge impact in the eWorld. In our two previous missions we freed Germany from the oppression of Sweden and then worked to build up Koreas society, and fought off swarms of goons. Sweden owned all the German territories, and in one quick swoop we all immigrated to Sweden occupied Germany, and started a resistance, and together liberated the entire country, being the largest war of this type ever in that point in eHistory. In our next mission we lived in South Korea, a land that was plagued with much corruption. We used our [B]BURNING SPIRIT[/B] to help repel that evil and make an impact. We held the largest Party in Korea and I was the Vice President. We also started created a “religious movement” that in some ways resembled a cult. Unfortunately Japan decided to attack our beloved south Korea for some laughs and all but eliminated us off the map. [B]Where we are now:[/B] Since our first go-around in Korea, the country has fallen into a state of chaos. The Romanian military has infiltrated the government, ripping Korea out of it’s native populations hands. Now South Korea is a puppet satellite of the Romanians across the eWorld, and democracy is nonexistent. Korea is now trying to gather the force to overthrow the Romanian regime, and so we can run our country as normal. This is a prime opportunity for anyone who is interested in getting started in politics, journalism and eventually even entrepreneur. [B]Instructions for new Players:[/B] First thing that you are going to want to do is click the giant image at the top of this post. By clicking this link you will be registered in a way that you will contribute Gold to our cause, a valuable thing necessary for waging war, opening newspapers, and running companies. This fund will be used as a bank that will help our struggling players and expensive plans (for example if we all need to move for a war, this money could help buy the tickets to get moving). Once you click the link you should be linked to a citizen creator. Please start your character in South Korea, and select Chungcheongnam-do as the region. Currently the eRepublik interface will walk you through your average life very easily (getting a job, eating food, etc). For getting a job, I suggest [B]working at FP's bread, gun, or grain companies[/B]. This welfare is why your pay is slightly lower. For the first few days you will just make sure you want to do three easy things. [I]1[/I][I][U]. Work and Train everyday[/U][/I][I]. - [/I]Working everyday will earn you money and by working 30 days in a row, you get a nice chunk of gold. This will be very important for you later. Training will also make you a better fighter, also a useful thing. 2[I][U]. Read and Comment on all newspapers everyday.[/U][/I] - In-game there is a handy newspaper module, in which people share their thoughts with their country and the world. By reading the local news, you can be up-to-date on all the current happenings. 3[I][U]. Check this thread everyday.[/U][/I] - This thread is where all Facepunch specific instructions will be given, and it is the quickest means of communication. It can keep you up-to-date on who we need to vote for, where we need to fight, and what we need to do to keep our machine well-oiled. After you do this for a few days you should catch on. You will want to fight as often as you can afford, buy a newspaper as soon as you can, and vote in every election. This will help you level up faster and make you more useful/wealthy. The more useful/active/wealthy you are, the more popular you will be and the better politician you will be. If you have any questions or need anything, these people will all be eager to assist. Also I would recommend making sure these people are added on your friends list. Other wise just do the same thing tomorrow, and the day after until you get the notificiation that you can buy a newspaper or join a party.

If you have 2 q3 you can get pretty much anywhere in the world.

So pissed, I just looked at the monetary rates and say how 1 gold = 170 US Dollars. I had 20 gold but traded it all for US dollars at 1 gold to 40 dollars. Heading there now. How should I get from Florida to South Korea with two q.3 tickets?

Are you talking nations or people? I just came back to Korea a few days ago so I am also playing catch up, but officially we are aligned with Greece and Bulgaria. In the past however we have been very close with Russia and Germany, though the Romanians have somewhat destroyed that. It also says that we are natural enemies with Taiwan but I need to be filled in on this since I'm not sure if this is just for cheaper training wars and region swaps, or if our previous relations with them broke.

However the whole purpose of this operation is to remove Romanians from the seat of power because they are toying with the country and importing voters. The best thing you can do until then is make yourself an educated voter. Clopoyaur, MirceaDrac, Milenezu, and 60 some other citizens are all Romanians, and you need to read the articles both by them and by people such as Rory Winterbourne, Jackdaknife, Dan/naD and Veritas Causidiaus (our allies) so that you can see what is going on. Once you get to the point where you can write newspaper articles, you should buy a newspaper ASAP. If you become a popular journalist you have a much better chance of getting in congress, and the more loyal congressmen we have, the better. Should we gain majority we can seriously change the tide of the PTO (Political Take Over), and possibly even impeach Clopoyaur. Also there is an offsite IRC channel and Forum for Korea where laws and such are discussed and you should become involved in that. Once I find which is the forum we want (Korea has changed its official forum about every two weeks, so its hard to know which to use), I will post the link.
