Small problem related to hl source

Right, I cant seem to find the folder of it anywhere for some reason. I've installed it, played it, but the folder still doesn't show up in either my common folder or my username folder.

I've restarted just in case but nothin.

Any ideas?

It's in Half-Life 2 folder for reasons unknown.

And funnily enough, HL:S DM uses it's own folder

Half-Life 2/hl1

and that's becuase HLS uses the SP engine (HL2/steampipe branch) and HLDMS is on the MP engine

Any idea why I cant find the maps in the map folder?

They're in Half-Life 2/hl1/maps, not in the VPK.
