Maybe they didn't put them on the list because they're on every other list, and they want to let you know about games that aren't 13 years old.

Who honestly gives a crap what some site or person's "top number of this thing etc.". It's just some opinion that doesn't hold any factual ground, plus most are just made to promote the site and create advertisement to get more viewers and attention whether negative or positive

Hmm, Spirit Tracks was mentioned for best DS games but not Phantom Hourglass? Thought the game was tedious. I should of read reviews before buying it. When It came out I was just like "new zelda? INSTA BUY TAKE MY MONEEE" Got home dissapointed :(

I like how in the TF2 part, they're like "here's how it looks in action" and they have the very first TF2 trailer which doesn't even look like what TF2 actually does.

As much as I dislike Kotaku, I was pleasantly surprised to see Amnesia and the Witcher 2 on the PC list. [editline]25th January 2012[/editline] Beats the hell out of seeing "BIOSHOCK, HALF LIFE, HALF LIFE 2, ETC" and every other game that makes it on to every other list of top games.

Most "BEST OF" lists are pretty shit. Works a lot better when you split it into genres of gaming (RTS, RPG, FPS, 4X, and combinations) but I still often find the lists worthless.

Well it's entirely subjective. There are technological breakthroughs like Crysis, a great story like DX:HR...

Well, the PC list isn't that bad. Half Life 2, TF2, Amnesia...

Arma 2, Skyrim and Deus Ex HR should be on that list. BF3 and Shogun 2 shouldn't in my opinion. Both of them were mediocre, nothing ground breaking.

Reminds of a week ago when they said that Apple was the most influential company in gaming.

InB4 fun-haters decry Halo: Reach as being terrible even though they don't own a 360.

I find it funny ME2 get onto the best PC list. To me, the Mass Effect games feel much better played on the xbox.

I don't get why there would be Infinity Blade instead of its sequel on the list of iOS games. How do they fuck up so badly, I mean most of the Android games are also on iOS and they picked worse shit for other platforms and uuugh
