Should be http not https.
I downloaded this the other day and thought somewhat the same thing, he really pushed that spending gems thing. I uninstalled once I got to the EULA. Also a factor: moving out of wifi range will turn the screen black and entirely freeze the game.
EA thanks you for your continued support at least EA's Tetris is fun to play w/o paying in classic mode
EA sucks at making F2P games and EA kills off good game series, this is just an example of both in action. They didn't even try, the game is an exact copy of every single other social browser game except with more ripping off your wallet added in(courtesy of EA not knowing how to make money out off F2P games but still wanting to jump in the F2P bandwagon), it's just re-skinned to look like Dungeon Keeper and even that sucks. Also I tried to play it when it was released and it requires you to also have a G+ account, a simple Google account isn't enough for some reason, after that I couldn't log in because I assume the servers were being pummeled.
Also a factor: moving out of wifi range will turn the screen black and entirely freeze the game.
Yeah, it's always online too. As if it wasn't shit enough.
I seriously don't think anyone else is going to win the Consumerist's Worst Company of the Year award, Battlefield 4 and this basically guaranteed it. edit: Who rated my OP funny? Who thinks the raping of a classic series is funny?
EA: "we can do better guys, we will do better, promise!" liars Simcity 2013, Battlefield 4, and this is this EA's idea of doing better?
They've gone from being the nagging but attractive girlfriend to the nagging and ugly and celibate girlfriend. Basically, before, we hated them, but couldn't keep away from them, and now they never give us what we want, and even when try to, we really don't want it.
I've also seen Evil Genius Online, was it too published by EA?
EA went from being bad, to being 'not as bad as activision', to being the shittest publisher that gaming has ever seen
EA: "we can do better guys, we will do better, promise!" liars Simcity 2013, Battlefield 4, and this is this EA's idea of doing better?
Well, on the bright side, plants versus zombies 2 is actually fun and isn't too much payment.
At this point, I'm actually excited to watch how EA can outdo themselves in the horrible things department.
I've also seen Evil Genius Online, was it too published by EA?
Nope
I think it was obvious for ages that EA is not a company interested in gaming but making money from gaming especially if they cater it towards gullible gamers, they make games by acquiring smaller studios with potential and re-branching them to EA, see Westwood studios or even Maxis, but Maxis kept the name, EA should not be treated as a gaming company but more of business type entertainment company that's the sad truth, it's more like Hollywood of gaming which is full of shit. They ran down some of the nicest franchises, let's not forget that the only thing EA ever owned was stupid sport games such as FIFA, Madden which made them lots of money. Back in around year 2000 the only thing you would recognize EA with was their sport games and nothing more, which were released year after the year worse than CoD series. I haven't bought or played a single EA game and I'm talking about a period of time since 2007, Spore being the last game I ever got from EA.
