I just wanna know if anyone has any good graphics enhancers or mods for HL2. Mods that change the shading, post-processing, etc. Every mod I've found is two or three years old, and Fakefactory's Cinematic mod changed it so much I didn't even recognize it was HL2 (in a not-good way).
So...
Makes it prettier, while keeping the same art direction. Like I said, mostly post-processing or shaders.

EARLY versions of the cinematic mod (up to 3 I think) have very very good HD citizen TEXTURES. other than that, I don't know.
Half-Life 2: Update Mod (Version 3.0 is coming soon) is the best available that i currently know of.

Damn, this is nice, I had no idea this existed.
Would it be easy to just DL Cinematic Mod but remove all the other elements which fuck up the atmosphere like all the character models?
Is it really that bad? (Not a rhetorical question btw, I've never played cinematic mod before.)

Trying the Enhanced Shader pack now. I shall report back on the success of this shit later k.
The enhanced shader pack is good, just disable the DOF if you dont like it.

I think this was before HL2 was updated to the Orange Box version, and the mod tried to do that unofficially.
Does ENBSeries work for anyone? I tried to install it on HL2 but it didn't seem to work.

Had some fakefactory textures with the shitty smutty slutty sluts removed and the horribly bad models removed already so this will be a great addition.
