In one screenshot they have 3 unread messages, then in the other two screenshots their avatar changes to a raccoon however if you notice in the friends list their icon is still the same. If you remember from the Portal 2 ARG there was a character named "Steve" [url]http://valvearg.com/wiki/People#Steve[/url] his youtube avatar is also a raccoon.
