I am starting up the game, no missing textures or anything (There were some but I verified game cache of hl2 and hl2 ep2).
It had a problem before this where the mod would play fine, but there would be missing textures everywhere. Now, the levels are starting but there are no scripted events or NPCs, and no way of progressing in the levels.
Also I had replaced the gameinfo because after I updated HL2 and HL2 Ep2 I got a message that said "can't find background image materials/console/startup_loading.vtf
now that problem is fixed but the game is doing the silly no npc thing! How do I fix this? Does god hate me??
