Magicite - 2D Roguelite with multiplayer, worth it?

I like all these things but I'm unsure if the game has enough content to actually make it interesting.
I would expect it to be pretty limited since it's early access but I've not seen a negative review of it so far. None of my friends have it so I can't ask them for their opinion.
So, I want to know what you guys think about it.

I know it's not a unique game but I still just want some game to play with a few friends even if I'll like it for just a month and ignore it for a year until I hear of a large update/its release.
