Is there a console command along the lines of Quake's vid_restart? Or maybe to change the resolution through the console? The back story is that my drivers or chipset or video card are shitty, and glitch out once every 10 minutes or so in CS:S. I need to be able to get back into the game without restarting it. When the glitching occurs, I can't really see anything that is going on inside the game (so rule out the video settings menu). I CAN, however, press the console button and type something.

Actually screw it, I figured out how it works. I can set mat_dxlevel to a different setting and the graphics subsys restarts itself on the spot. However, it only helps once. After that a restart is mandatory.
