[release] [b] What is Kingdom of Loathing?[/b] The Kingdom of Loathing (or KoL, as it has come to be known by its player base) is a free, comical RPG, brought to you by the folks at Asymmetric Publications. KoL is currently in open beta -- it's open to the public to play, but it's not quite finished. More features and things to do are being added on a nearly daily basis. Despite its unfinished state, it has already attracted a thriving community of interesting, intelligent, and helpful players. KoL is, and always will be, free to play, but donations are appreciated and rewarded. KoL is played from the comfort of your browser, and is adorned with a staggering array of stunning hand-drawn images. It is turn-based, which means you get a certain number of turns (Adventures) each day.[/release] [release][b] So if its an RPG what classes are there?[/b] There are 6 classes, 2 classes for every mainstat (Muscle, Mysticality and Moxie). They rely on their Muscle to survive. He excels at moving very slowly and winning footraces with smug satisfaction. His Muscle is the key to his success, and to his long lifespan. He relies on his Mysticality to get ahead in the world. No man knows. Whither strikes he next? All men live in fear of him and his Moxie. When you do this you can start all over with a new class, you get to keep your items and pets. The game is filled with witty pop culture references and is generally hilarious.

Those classes are pretty cool.

I think those are the funniest classes I have even seen

I used to play KoL, but I'd be willing to dust off my accordion thief if other people joined.

Fuck yeah love this game. I ascended twice before quitting a long while back. As pastamancer first, and then disco bandit.

I had a character pre NS-13 (was that the name?) who had ascended once, but alas, I never bought anything. So he's loong gone.

Seal Clubber, holy fuck. I'll take a look in case I get in the mood to play another RPG

Playing it right now, it's pretty funny.

I always saw this on ads like 5 years ago. I never really tried it.

It's been years since I've logged on. Thirty ascensions (all hardcore), full brimstone, full plexiglass, one tome (snowcones), one grimore (party favors), an ascension familiar (llama), and 311 floors down on my second telescope run. Damn, this brings back memories.

I played this game ages ago, but never really got very far in it. I don't even remember my account, but I made a new one and am now a level 5 sauceror.

This game used to be so awesome, but once I beat the main quests, there wasn't much to do.

The top of the game window keeps getting cut off, preventing me from clicking my inventory and things. I'm using Chrome, is there a fix for this other than just using a different browser?
