Strategy for beating Onslaught 2.2 (Tower Defense Game) - Games

Here everyone can discuss "winning" strategies for getting the fabled 4000 kills to unlock sandbox mode. Or any strategies, really. Keep it to only a few towers, and upgrade the hell out of them 'till you get the funds you need.

having only one missile tower seems to be a working strategy, while upgrading it

Game is addicting.

4000 kills. Then I found out you had to do it on medium difficulty. FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I just spent a half hour playing this only to lose suddenly at 754 kills.

I spent two friggin' hours on this, lost 3 times, highest score 47798452. I didn't even get to 2000 kills. Gah this is hard.

Get a Big Laser Cluster Bomb Landmine Turret Pure rape [b]Edit:[/b] After 360 they get somehow almost invincible [URL=http://www.cubeupload.com][IMG]http://www.cubeupload.com/files/4ae939assssssssssss.jpg[/IMG][/URL]

I never found out what the fusion ones do aside from draw your turret's fire. Also the blue helix looking one.

Use a trainer...

Build only fully upgraded green towers. (When you've got the funds.) They will link up and do massive damage

This should keep me entertained while I reinstall WoW. Last time I played I got like 300 kills (Big woop...)

How do you do a 'combo'?

Nope, it seems lining up railguns along a straight road so they hit every enemy in the wave at once is.

No cheat engine replies, Cheating is for people who well... uhh.. Smell?

Don't cheat. Exploit! You can easily unlock the mod tools by starting a laser chain ( on the Lyne map ) and then upgrading the last one until the first , then start getting nukes , then just build up. it works. FUUUUUUCK I did the classic map, everything went fine up to wave 430, then they broke through the tasers, and Crowded House started singing the words "Hey now, Hey now the dream is over" on the online radio I was listening to. I wasted more than 2 hours :(

I will build a nuke combo. This is incredibly useful because it does LOADS of damage. Then max up those rails

Can someone explain how combos work? I know the combos but can't get anything to combine or whatever.

Yeah the combos are a bit hard to understand. I just use fully upgraded rocket towers. [b]Edit:[/b] Ok I'm doing really good, I can destroy the enemies as they've barely come onscreen. Should I buy the sniper or not? [IMG]http://i35.tinypic.com/2a65qp4.jpg[/IMG]

If you guys didn't know yet, Full damage laser + full damage rockets = LASERSHOOTING ROCKETS! this way you don't have to waste money on other towers and can save up for ONE MILLION RAILGUNS! Also I advise you to build fully upgraded tasers once you got a couple of railguns.

My turrets keep making a sort of "powering up" noise, and shaking, what does that mean? Also what do nukes look like? Because I have the correct combo, but the blue turrets don't do anything and the red one just looks normal.
