Imagine if every myth, conspiracy theory and urban legend was true. Imagine a world where you can become anything you want to be, without restrictions such as classes or levels. This is the premise for The Secret World, Funcom's massively multiplayer online game set in the modern-day real world. [B]Is The Secret World Pay 2 Play?[/B] No, the secret world runs off of a Buy once, play forever system, although there are multiple expansion packs to the game which adds more content. [B]Where can i get The Secret World[/B] It's available on their website, steam and in some stores. [B]Why am i making this thread?[/B] I didnt know if there was a big community of Secret World players here, nor did i see a post about this topic, i would like to get more into this but being Alone in an MMO is a pretty miserable feeling. I remember liking this game but I just didn't have anybody at all to play with so I lost interest. It has some really cool investigation missions where you actually have to try to solve things using clues. I remember for one of them I had to /spit into a puddle or something :v: Also, owners of the game can send out 72 hour trial things apparently, so if you want to try this out one weekend or something you can PM me your email address and I'll send one to you.

This game is actually pretty damn good and more populated than you'd think. Especially since it goes on sale for like $20 on the Massive Edition (which is worth it for the issues alone).

You still play? id love someone to play with.

Also, the tutorial initially put me off of this game because I hate the shotgun in this game.

I'll add you on steam, even though my games a retail copy and not on steam

Same for me. I'll be out of town all weekend until Sunday night where I live which is like 6 hours behind where you are. I will say that I need better weapons since I'm still using Polaris gear despite having the ability to equip QL5 Pistols and a QL4 elementalist focus.

Oh this is just great. The kick-ass dorm internet downloaded the game in an hour per steam. I start it up and the launcher has to download another 2GB. And now it's slow as fuck. I was really looking forward to playing it today. Damn.

I'm slowly making my way through the game, I'm taking my time to get all the lore and the side quests. Only issue is that I really want to move into Egypt but I still need better gear or a friend or two.

I love this game. But the problem is that I have Windows 8. There is a problem where the game will freeze my system completely. I put a good amount of time into this game and then that problem started. I really want them to fix the issue.

For some reasons this game remind me of secret city in svencoop.
