Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (MoH:AA) is a WW2 themed FPS game. It was published by EA Games and officially released for Microsoft Windows on January 22, 2002 in North America and on February 15, 2002 in Europe.
Allied Assault is the third game in the Medal of Honor series. MoHAA features 2 expansion packs - Spearhead and Breakthrough whic. The game uses the Quake III Arena engine, to simulate realistic infantry combat in the European and North African Theaters during World War II.

The player takes on the role of a United States Army Ranger who works for the OSS [[i]Office of Strategic Services[/i]]. Single player missions include assaulting nazi fortifications and strongholds in Algiers and Norway, storming Omaha Beach on D-Day, and murdering krauts in occupied France.

Spearhead is the first expansion pack for AA. It re-enacts 3 major European Theater battles. You play as a paratrooper of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. You will land behind the Atlantic Wall on D-Day in Normandy, hold the line near Bastogne in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge and infiltrate Berlin before the Red Army begins their attack. Multiplayer has been given several new weapons to the player's arsenal in Spearhead such as the PPsh-41 and the Lee Enfield.

Breakthrough is the second and final expansion pack for AA. You play apart of the US 34th Infantry Division. The singleplayer campaign covers the Battle of Kasserine Pass, the turning point of the North African campaign, the fall of Bizerte, the Allied invasion of Sicily in 1943, the bloody Battle of Monte Cassino, followed by the amphibious landings and defense of the beachhead at Anzio, Italy and finally, the battle of Monte Battaglia. Again, it adds some new weapons , such as the De Lisle carbine and the PIAT anti-tank weapon.

Download the 2 files [url=http://www.moddb.com/mods/medal-of-honor-cooperative-gameplay/downloads]here[/url] and simply extract them to your allied assault main directory. If you are planning on hosting a server make sure to use a listen server and not dedicated because the game has issues with people joining dedicated games. Contrary to popular belief that Gamespy is ([i]has already?[/i]) shutting down and that there will no longer be multiplayer support, there are PLENTY of active servers and players playing right now
