Real Lives is a small, fun, and surprisingly addicting educational game made by Educational Simulations!
[B]What is Real Lives 2010?[/B]
Tis basically a text based game supported by detailed GUI. You age a year and read what happened. You monitor your health, wealth, happiness, any other important aspect of living (spare bodily functions). You also decide your education, career, and free time. Very simple!
[B]Sounds boring... why do you like it?[/B]
I can agree it sounds very boring, well kinda. But the reason its fun, is kinda the same reason The Sims is fun. Its addicting and can produce some comical results. Try it before you knock it.
[B]Okay, fine - Where do I obtain this [I]educational video game[/I]?[/B]
Well you can download the trial [url=http://www.educationalsimulations.com/eval.php]here[/url], but you're only allowed 3 Lives. The older versions (2009 and down) are free, but you need to get them elsewhere.
So, download the trial and enjoy! When you die, post some info about your life, stats, trivia, name, location, age, etc. Kinda like an obituary.

I liked the earlier one. Though admittedly it got stale pretty fast, it was still enjoyable enough.
This things like the niche of the niche, but pretty unique as far as teaching aides goes.
I remember playing an old version of this game, to bad I'm to cheap to buy it.
I remember the old version. My brother (A geography nut) still plays it and tried the trail of this. I also remember that people kept posting keys for it so approximately one person on the internet ever bought it.

Meh, my sister in it died at age 22 of alcoholism. What a life it was. Was arrested three times in China for fucking around with the government, my only job I could get at the age of 70 was beggar so I illegally immigrated to Australia and started up a pet grooming job, spent the last 13 years of my life on it.
