I guess there's going to be the same weapons as HL2 with new models and textures and also some new weapons.
grav gun
crowbar
Pistol
Shotgun
SMG
assault Rifle
long range weapon
grenade
and an RPG
gravy gun
definitely not a crowbar
ice axe
i can dream
there will probably be a hundred weapons, with groups of five in each number from 1 to 0, and then another fifty accessed by shift-pressing the number groups
Probably everything from hl1 to hl2.
This is such a 2005 post, I feel like I have been briefly teleported.
Oh damn, did i just travel in time
maybe some alien weapons this time that are cool
I seriously doubt we'll see a direct sequel to HL2. It's been, what, 10 years now? I think it would be a bad decision in terms of marketing. Half of today's target audience didn't even grow up with Half Life. Out of the remaining half, a large portion will have unrealistic expectations which Valve could never meet, and for another large group, the Half-Life hype is so long forgotten that they won't care anymore.
Much better to hit people with something fresh and unexpected than to serve them a sequel that most people have already given up waiting for.
I'd honestly rather see a new innovative valve franchise pop up instead of a game I know won't satisfy the amount of hype I've built up since ep2 came out.
gravity dildo
weapons that can be picked up from the enemy, so space weaponry
and possibly old weapons that can survive in the cold, so shit like a mosin would be badass for long range

I'm more or less positive that Valve is waiting for the Oculus Rift to hit the market before rebooting the Half Life series. Most of their in-house technological development seems to be related to either VR or Linux.
really hoping they come back with the classic ak/awp/deagle combo
as long as there is a revolver it'll be good
