The main goal of the game is to survive the war with the tools and materials the player can gather with the characters they control. The player will have to take care of each character's needs to keep them performing at their best so they may build tools, salvage resources, cook food, and stay alive. During the day, the player controls the civilians within the house to build their shelter to withstand the war. At night, the player is given the opportunity to venture out and resupply equipment and resources for their everyday survival. It's a sidescrolling game of FEELS. You should definitely try it. It's not too bad, I'm having an issue with everyone being hostile to trade though. Like I walk in, and they think I'm a bandit immediately and want to attack me.

Like this one time I was sneaking into "shelled school" where some militia men hanged out. I could use the keyhole to watch two of them talk and the conversation made it clear that they are okay guys. [editline]21st November 2014[/editline] I think the game is great. I like finding little tricks to make survival easier. For example you can squeeze 12 water out of each rainwater collector every day. To do that you simply set up a filter right as the day starts, then you should be able to change it half the day later, and then you will get around 50 minutes leftover to set up another one, so it will collect overnight. 12 water is enough to feed four people and even make moonshine every few nights.
It's more of a Sarajevo 1992 simulator This was at the point where 2 of my survivors committed suicide, and pavle was critically wounded and I decided to make Anton commit suicide by soldier Depressing as fuck game
Do you have a weapon out? If not it might just be shitty luck
I looked it up, turns out there's an aggro" glitch the devs already know about. Kinda makes sense seeing as the church, shelled school, military outpost, and town square were all immediately hostile, even going in with no weapons at all.
Just got it today. Love it.
Loving this game. im on day 31 and have resorted to chopping up furniture at the hospital for wood. Also found that the traders at the central market or whatever are really easy to game, I went in with 1 purified alcohol and left with 4 stacks of components. 8 moonshine, 4 bandages 4 medicine some cigs (made a few trips untill the snow cut it off )

Looks fun, wish I had the money for it.
Aw man I feel so good after [sp]rescuing that injured guy in Sniper Junction. He runs up to the screaming baby in the apartment building and there's a really touching moment before he gives you FIVE jewels!!![/sp] But then I robbed an elderly couple for food and now I feel like shit.

Lost my first game. Pavle was my main scavenger and got shot, point-blank by a bandit at the warehouse, bedding him for two weeks and making Katia my primary scavenger. She got killed by the military at the big abandoned apartment complex, and Pavle was lethally injured the next day by the son taking care of his parents. Emilia tried murdering the scavengers at the supermarket, but was killed herself by the third one after axing the other two. Bruno starved to death a couple days later and Pavle bled out. ;~; [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] Second run is going better. On night 5, Marko beat the shit out of a soldier trying to rape a poor girl with his crowbar. Got a free assault rifle and 5 bullets for it.
How do you guys even get food I run out of food really quick and almost never find any when I scavenge.
I love the game but I feel like I suck at it all the time, everyone is always hungry and tired.
I'm calling this run "The Vigilante Run". Night 9 I encounter some psycho armed thugs with Boris. Axed three of them and got 6 bullets. There's a guy locked up in a bathroom, so I'm going to go back the next day with a lockpick and rescue him.
I beat the game in a single run (my first), with only one fatality after stepping ever so slightly too close to the rebels. I didn't expect them to run on a hair trigger. Everyone else survived.
Rescued that guy at the hotel, but he just screamed and ran away. Oh well. I still feel good about it. [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] And so does the crew. Those thugs I axed were torturing him.
Donetsk isn't nearly this bad, I know a couple of people who live there and they're still going to school and all that
decided to take Pavle to the military base to trade, as soon I walk in, an officer and two other guys go flipshit and shoot him once, return thinking I can maybe send him to the hospital the next day, then it starts snowing while I only have two bandages left and no food fuck me
The fucking dickhead at the brothel shot my girl in the back of the head as she was walking away cause she walked three feet into his store. Fuck you.
Killed a shitload of hobos, the family in the apartment, killed the hospital's guard and robbed the hospital, killed the old couple in the house. All my characters left the house prolly to get killed by the military. GG
How do you guys even get food I run out of food really quick and almost never find any when I scavenge.
only use food when the survivors condition is on very hungry
I'm addicted to this game, killed my first people and I felt like pure shit afterwards. I was only able to play about 30 more minutes before getting sad and needing to put it down.
Man fuck the combat system in this game. I'm standing right in front of this guy's face and tapping the shoot button on him as fast as I can and I'm doing tiny little slivers of damage with my AK. Now I lost all my bullets and one of my rifles.
Just do what I do and lead guys to ladders, works most of the time.
How do you guys even get food I run out of food really quick and almost never find any when I scavenge.
Generally I scavenge for food foremost and primarily until I have two-to-three household meals worth of supplies. Only feed your household EVERY OTHER day, it cuts consumption in half and they go from Hungry to Very Hungry every 2 full days. If you've scavenged the area clean then the best option, in my book, is to trade your medicine and Bandages. I keep 2 bandages, 1 Medicine. All else gets the trade. They can buy you a lot of supplies and One Bandage + a few materials can get you 2-3 raw food / canned food. The Garage, Wandering Merchant, and Church are usually good places to find food. If you don't have any health items the hospital has a couple freebies you can usually grab without conscious guilt. (Doesn't report it as theft). Otherwise get weapons, get good at raiding, and grow a stiff conscience.
2 questions: 1. If you can sneak steal stuff, do they know you stole something of theirs if they spot you, but didn't spot you looting? and 2. What happens after you clear out all the areas on the map? is that possible?
If you can sneak steal stuff, do they know you stole something of theirs if they spot you, but didn't spot you looting?
I stole from the weapon's merchant in the Hotel once when no one was looking. I made out with like 15 rounds of ammunition and no one did anything at first. But when I came back a couple days later they all called me a bandit/thief and told Me I would regret what I did, so I cheesed it outta there quick!
I scavenged a building marked as "exercise caution" and found a pile of corpses with a description along the lines of "These corpses have been brutally hacked to pieces. Whoever did this must have been a deranged psychopath". I then heard a few people say "He's trying to scavenge, should we kill him?". "Excercise caution" my ass. That was a full blown danger zone.
