I recently graduated high school and worked my ass off to finance a trip to Europe, and I came back with a lot more money than I thought I'll have,
and I've been thinking of either upgrading my PC, or buying a PS4.
My current PC has Nvidia Geforce 570 GX and Intel i5 2500k, and I have an Xbox360.
I can no longer play the newest games, and even older games don't run as well on my computer.
I thought of upgrading my GPU and processor because I game a lot more on the computer, but I am getting conscripted for 3 years very soon and I don't know how much time I'll be at home every week,
which gave me the idea of getting a PS4 and just buying a game once in a while to play when I have time, because I can be sure that during my enlistment the PS4 will still play the new games, while I won't be as sure if I upgrade my PC.
It also comes down to what will be pricier in the long run.
I would appreciate any and all advice, and also advice on what parts I should buy for the PC if the recommendation is to upgrade it, because I am a bit out of the loop.
keep your 2500K, it's still very relevant, if you can stretch to something like a r9 380/390 or a gtx 970, that's like the sweet spot for 1920x1080 gaming there all around the $300~ mark USD wise don't like what the prices are like in israel
The GTX 970 is around $450~500 in Israel.
I think I have a $800 budget to spare.
Would I need to change something in my computer if I buy the GTX 970? Like the power supply or the cooling or motherboard?

Also is there a recommended model of the GTX 970? Because I see quite a few models for sale from different manufacturers.
