This video will explain it better than I can but I will still try.
Starmade is pretty much Minecraft in space; you build ships from blocks and have to account for weapon systems, engines, shield generators, and even cameras so you can see where you're going.
There is a fully fledged "factions" feature, which is pretty much Guilds if you've ever played an MMORPG.
AI Pirates, Mining Asteroids for ore, manufacturing stuff from planets, and even killing other players can all be done to earn you credits (the ingame currency)
It is very fun. And you can play for free while the game is still in alpha or buy it for 3 dollars.

Been a few hours since the last one, so I copied it's OP.
Man, I got 200000000 credits on Wolly's server. I hope it updates soon so I can continue building my warship.

Just got into this game, and I'm playing single player for now trying to get the hang of things. But I think I hit the limit of things I can do on my own.

I can't wait for the update that makes credits churn out at such a low rate I can hear all the tears falling that they cant have their multiple sectors ships cant reign across the universe destroying planets with a sneeze and farting lasers everywhere with over gazillion points of shields and well... you get the point.
Don't get me wrong big ass ships are fun, but not seeing twenty of them at your local dairy queens isn't.
I cheated for the max amount of credits possible and I've used about 30% of them
So... I just got obliterated by a surprise pirate attack while at the shop... Good thing I got a ton of stuff to sell before I got obliterated. In other news, apparently Facepunch frequents a server? If so which one in the OP(or otherwise) and is it updated?

That still doesn't help when all the stores only have 90 or so grey hull bits in stock

They either salvage space stations for all that hull or they cheat in hull blocks in singleplayer and build a ship, save the ship, and buy it in a multiplayer server after they've killed a few pirates.
Yeah if I need some item not in the shop I'll save a ship with them and then buy it and use a 10x10x10 block to remove them, rebuy it, add the ones just removed to it, save, buy, remove, etc

Also you can get rock and plextanium from asteroids and grassy planets - put it in a factory input with a particle press and some energy, and you can manufacture grey hull.
I'd like to curve the rest of the back sections like those 2, but it's just a major pain in the ass

Most of us play at Wolly's, but I don't think it's updated right now.
