So yeah, I just beat Braev and am close to finishing the game. The second half is certainly lacking compared to the first. talk.

I really didn't mind the latter half of this game because it just had loads of awesome battles, also the fact that you just can put random encounters on 0% made going through it a breeze. The only real negative thing about having to do everything again and again was that you had to listen to Airy's whining so often.
It also has the best soundtrack on the 3DS imo, with the last battles themes being some of my favourite JRPG themes.

The dungeon music that kicks in during the second half is probably my favourite music in the game.

This goddamn boss rush at the end. This game was great when I played it. The beginning and the latter half was great, it's just that the parts in between might get repetitive. Still, it introduced some new plots so I liked it too. Also it somewhat gives you another version of some events in game if you do them in some specific order, like the Swordmaster part.

I forgot what my team comp was, but I recall I beat the last boss by using one of those Bravely Second thing(?) that removes the upper limit for damage and one-shot it.

Right now I'm running Tiz and Edea and Ninja/Pirates, Agnes as Spiritmaster/White Mage, and Ringabel as Dark Knight/Templar.
