Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about the game. If you haven't played it, it's a VN/JRPG in a normal JRPG-esque world where humans live in villages and there's evil monsters that attack travelers and heroes. But, see, the monsters here aren't all evil, and you play as a little boy that wants to unite the humans and monsters to live in peace and all that good shit. So you end up teaming up with a tsundere snake monster to do that. The only problem? All the monsters want to rape you dead and/or eat you. And you're all out of gum.

So yeah, it's a pornographic game, but that doesn't mean the developers slacked off in every other aspect to make a game that only holds itself up on sex appeal. It's got a better dialogue and story than most modern games that get shit out today, surprisingly good art and music, and plenty of gameplay that feels like some sort of Visual Novel and JRPG mishmash. Even though it was only released in Japan, I'd say it has to be the best indie game of 2011.

The first game has an unofficial translation patch, but the second game was only released recently and has no translation. I'd recommend waiting to play it unless you're a brave enough soul to play it with moonspeak.
