[b]What the heck is Super Smash Bros.?[/b]
Super Smash Bros. is a popular crossover fighting game series produced and published by Nintendo. Directed by Kirby creator Masahiro Sakurai, SSB brings together various Nintendo series and pits them against each other in one epic battle. The gameplay of the Super Smash Bros. series is unique. None of the characters have health bars, for one thing. Rather, they all have a damage gauge. When a character is attacked, their damage gauge increases, which in turn makes them weaker and easier to knock off the stage. Falling off of the stage results in a KO. Another unique aspect of SSB is that, unlike most fighting games, characters' movesets are very simplistic. Each character has their own set of ground and aerial attacks, which can be directed with the control stick. Tapping the control stick in one direction and holding the attack button charges up a smash attack, which is quite useful for knocking opponents off the stage. Characters also have four special moves, which can be activated by pressing the special move button and holding the control stick up, sideways, down, or leaving it neutral.

The original game in the series was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. Although it was made with a small budget and only intended for a Japanese release, the game's wild domestic popularity convinced Nintendo to release the game worldwide. The game has 12 characters, 8 of which are available from the start. The game has a simple singleplayer mode, which pits the player up against the same sequence of fighters each time. Bonus stages include Target Test, Board the Platforms, and Race to the Finish.

The highly anticipated sequel, released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2001, was met with universal acclaim. Sakurai and his team put an inhumane amount of work into this game to get it out as soon as possible. SSBM more than tripled the size of the roster, playing host to 26 playable characters. 15 were ready to be played as soon as the game was fired up. Singleplayer was expanded to include Classic (a vastly improved version of the first game's "1P Mode"), Adventure, and All Star. Target Test and Race to the Finish returned alongside the introduction of new modes, such as the Homerun Contest and Multi-Man Melee. The third game in the series found its home on the Nintendo Wii in 2008. After two delays, rabid fans of the series were met with an excellent game, despite what the competitive enthusiasts might tell you. The roster was again expanded, this time to 35 characters. 21 of them are playable from the start. 5 characters were cut in the transition from Melee to Brawl. That was the first thing we tried to do. There were a lot of friendly fire KOs as a result of the CPUs, Pit especially, constantly chasing us and throwing me into the path of a falling tree before I could pocket it.

I think they would probably work like Duck Hunt where they piggy back but with the possibility of knocking out Nana.

Seeing as the 3DS can't handle 8 of them, this is probably the only way.

Keep playing those characters, try innovating combos and just more repetition will help you obtain a higher skill level not only as playing with certain characters but overall as a player.

Extra skins would be neat for DLC; having Wario and Olimar/Alph getting the Little Mac treatment, having Daisy as an actual alternate for Peach (seriously, wasted opportunity there, character aside, Daisy is a Peach headswap; change the voicelines just like with the Koopalings, and if anything change Toad with Toadette, and there you go, nifty detail and another playable character without being a clone or taking a slot)...
