What we are against
Valve taking money from modders
No system in place to stop stolen mods half ass mods from getting on
Overprice mods
Small mods being charge more then there worth
No guarantee that the mod will be patch if an update happens.
Modders lose rights to their mod after uploading.
What We're ok with
A market made of only high quality professional original mods, not one new sword for 99 cent. That is just putting new microtransactions

Valve is not stealing money from anyone. It's entirely up to the mod creator if they want to charge or not. It's also up to the mod creator to charge how much they want for the mod.
This is like building your own car after months of work, then trying to sell it only for people to tell you that it should be free.
No one is making you pay for those things. If you want something that costs money, then you'll have to pay for it just like everyone else. The creator(s) of those mods may or may not deserve that money, but it's up to the customers as to what they want to do.

I'm not against that but in it current system it terrible. There no quality control so people are steeling other mods. Plus the modder only gets 25%. Plus the modder loses all rights to his mod.
