Hey, I was wondering which Halo game I should get?
I was thinking of Halo 4 but people have been saying the player base has dropped significantly/ saying its dead.
So which one should I get? Halo 3? Reach? I'm not sure.
Halo 4 is trash honestly, you'd be hard pressed to find anything good about it.
Beyond that, you can't go wrong. ODST is maybe the second weakest in the series but it's still a very solid game. I don't know how the player base is for Reach these days but I think it's the best regardless. Campaign and multiplayer are fun as fuck, but the same can be said for 3 as well.

From what I know, Reach and the Master Chief Collection are currently the most played, although MCC is still considered "buggy" in a lot of ways, but a good deal in terms of money to content ratio.
