Does it controll like Budokai Tenkaichi series? That's the dream.

I always dabbled in Dragonball Z stuff as a kid, but never got SUPER into it. This looks pretty cool though.

Apparently this game could be the "revival" game for the whole DBZ fighting genre. That's what a lot of people I know are looking at it as and I'm kinda hyped to see if it will deliver.

Villainous mode is just something that's from the main story regarding the time dudes. If you can guess it's like [sp]a weird possessed evil version of the character (even characters like frieza have a villainous mode[/sp]

the internal debate to pre-order is rising on one hand, it's a revival to the budokai series and a db game on pc for like the first time ever on the other hand, outside of the fights it looks silly and boring (i seriously hope you can jump and fly around in the hub area because i will hate walking to every thing) and even then some of the fights look meh (i probably just watched bad streamers) and on the other other hand, pre-ordering gets you a playable SS4 vegeta (my all-time fav char, though not necessarily my favorite form of him) and on the last hand, i'm supposed to get a paycheck today, so i would have the funding to throw $50 at my screen. wat do

I'm sort of pissed off they gated GT characters behind a $25 season pass which has stages, skills and other stuff that should of been in the main game.

Holy shit that Super 17 screen has my hyped as fuck, he was my man. I'm not sure how I feel about the price tag but hell I'll probably buy it anyway, this shit is gonna be awesome.

Does it run above 60FPS? 'cause if it's a fighting game, it needs that silky smooth 60 to be playable.

The pvp is pretty broken right now because theres no level pool because literally nobody is playing pvp right now. Theres also the fact that they need to remove the z-souls from pvp. XV Reportedly runs perfectly on the xbone and PS4 but on old gen it gets some lag in 3v3 fights and toki toki city.

Well if runs at +60 on PC, that's all I need to hear...

I bought it, very excited for, Dragon ball fighting games are the only ones in the genre i can only really get into, should be a good laugh

Been hyped about this since it was put on steam. Either way making your own character is fantastic just hope moves are decently customizable.

The game has been out in Japan for some time; only Saiyans transform (and no level 3 or 4 for custom ones). Heck, Freeza's first and final forms are separate characters. Tenkaichi 3 remains uncontested in that department. Every custom character can use the Kaioken tho. And we don't know if Freeza's race has transformations as something common to them, or if it was just Freeza's thing (after all, he is stated to be abnormal). After all, Cooler is movie-only and not touched upon in the newer material, King Cold and Chilled were only ever shown in a certain form, and the Freeza Clan characters we have seen in Heroes and Xenoverse, IIRC did not change forms.

So I was watching a couple of streams, it looks like villain mode might be that you play on the villain's side. So reverse story mode it seems.

What's with them padding out the roster with forms again? They clearly have enough almost identical filler characters, why don't they just use those like they have in all the games before this? Remember The last wii game? That one had a stupid amount of non-form characters.
