I wish GGG had done more in terms of bug and balance fixes before releasing the league, it was a good and fresh take on the league mechanic but they need to focus now on improving their dev cycle a bit.
My favorite addition, though, with this expansion by far, was the exalted shard recipe.
Yeah this league isn't doing so hot, they did just release a new patch which might help the league a little bit. But that exalt recipe, dank as hell.
I think that the main problem is that they want way too ambitious with the league. There's a staggering amount of new, high quality content but it's implemented in a rather poor way and just hurts the experience. I hope that it'll becoming an absolutely amazing mechanic in the future but for now it's just lackluster.
If nothing else, GGG listen to their community's feedback, even if they take time to implement shit. I have confidence they can turn this around too like they've done so much more.
I still wish elementalist didnt end up eating paste in the corner compared to the buffs other ascendancies like heiro and jugg got though. Quad totem heiro is actually quite fun, though the HoWA wander build is still top tier.
