• UPnP Port Forwarder

There's too many people making Minecraft and Terraria servers using Hamachi. I made this tool for that reason. Run it. Type the port. Type the decription. Press Ok. Your port will forward automatically. Does not work if your router is not UPnP enabled. Most are enabled by default. A simple Google search will tell you how to enable it if it isn't. I wrote one of these for myself a while ago, but I think the main reason you port forward is because upnp doesn't work. But then again there are also a lot of game servers that don't try to use upnp so it makes sense.
upnp does work, sometimes, but is often less convinent
Ermagerd, its the best thing EVOR!
I threw up a bit in my mouth. Please learn how to use Facepunch correctly and try again. Anywho, I'll try the tool out. Been having some difficulties with 7 Days to Die.
How do I close the port if I don't want to use it anymore? I don't see anything on my router console (note: I'm layman at networking)
Hm. I didn't really consider that. If you don't see the port as forwarded on your router, it would seem that it is closed. If you want to be certain, you can use upnpc with command line options:
upnpc.exe -e "<desc>" -d <port range start> TCP upnpc.exe -e "<desc>" -d <port range start> UDP
Where <desc> is the description you used when setting up the port and <port range start> is the first port number you entered. However, there is no need to worry about having just a single port forwarded on your router. As long as you have a firewall on your computer and you haven't gone around handing your IP to strangers, you should be safe.
UPnP forwarded ports will close themselves after the pre-defined "advertisement period" (usually 30 minutes) of non-use.

Both links work for me.
