• Is the Resident Evil 5 PC port any good?

Most of the top comments are claiming that the game is broken and missing core features because of GFWL, but they were all posted around the same date half a year ago. Is this port still broken or has things changed
I've probably sank a decent amount of hours playing coop with a friend using a keyboard and mouse. In my experience, I had no problems whatsoever. I had a lot of fun playing the game, replayed it like 3 times with my one same friend.
When they added the Untold Stories DLC they introduced a few new bugs but at this point all the ones that remain are minor annoyances at best and have pretty easy work arounds if you encounter them. I'd recommend checking the RE5 entry on the PC Gaming Wiki, they have info on pretty much any issues you'd encounter and how to fix them. Other than that it runs great and plays really nice with mouse & keyboard. There's also a decently sized modding scene for the game, though most of it is model swaps and the like. I'd look into checking out FluffyQuack's Mod Manager + Trainer for any repeat playthroughs, since you can use it to play any character in any mode (playing as the Mercenaries-exclusive characters in the campaign, for example). I know there's also a 4-Player Mercenaries mod for the Steamworks version out but I haven't tried it.
