I hope we don't get a map that's as bad as the block from BF Hardline, or operation locker from BF4

They'll probably make one to pander to that audience unfortunately. But I'm pretty sure we'll get at least one free map so it'll be a mulligan [editline]7th June 2016[/editline] So are all bolt action rifles classed as snipers?

Anyways, I think the teaser trailer we got the other day was directly ripped from the proper trailer we're getting at E3. There's this screenshot from the battlefield twitter, which seems to be set moments before the teaser trailer starts. You can see the dead medic lying on the ground at the start of the teaser trailer. [t]http://imgkk.com/i/oas0.jpg[/t] Which kind of implies that the proper trailer will be about MP and not SP. Kind of redundant since we're already getting the livestreams. I'd like to see something from the campaign at least.

I hope the trailer is just straight up MP gameplay. Battlefield MP trailers are amazing. Here's the first MP trailers from BF3 and BF4 for reference and because they're always fun to watch. The best part is they're just straight up gameplay. No cinematic bullshit, no scripted pre-defined animations, just gameplay. The Siege of Shanghai demo at E3 was so hype, people losing their shit on stream and in the convention center audience.

I suspect this is going to be in 1 somewhere. I can't imagine where else it could've come from. Another thing we could be seeing at EA Play is a Battlefield Premium announcement. I remember there was something floating about the time of the reveal from an EA support rep telling someone to hold off preordering for a premium announcement soon.

A few free maps here and there, sure, but I want them to have reason to put lots of time and effort into new post-launch content. I really hope the community for this game lasts just as long as BF4's community has, and doesn't peter out like hardline.

Buying an expansion alone is just a complete waste of money after the next one comes out because the vast majority of servers that aren't vanilla are just premium/all DLC so you end up with the very occasional server for your specific expansion that never fills up because most everyone has moved on. That said Battlefield expansions are [I]typically [/I]pretty great value and I consistently get well over $50 out of my premium purchase so I will probably do it again for Battlefield 1 but it would be nice to see it pushed a little less hard, if only to keep the community together.
