Blockland is a sandbox game in which you are given the tools to build pretty much anything using bricks, and even customize your own Blockhead.
If you enjoyed playing with Lego as a kid you'll feel right at home.
Once finished with your creations, bring them to life with events and mini-games and even host death-matches, racing or even roleplays inside them.

This game is pretty much what made me discover the Internet back in 2009. Praise Badspot.
I don't play it very frequently, now that it's greenlit I might try getting back into it.

Badspot hasn't really said much himself, but either way you will still use your Blockland key.
Someone said that Badspot said on livesteam that it'll have workshop, achievements and trading cards which is could be causing the delay of release, but I can't confirm this.
Honestly vastly superior to Roblox and hell, I'd even wager provides more creative freedom than Minecraft. The community was so much better than Roblox' too. I barely played the game, discovered it when I was younger in 2005~ when it was free and such, but never stuck with it.
It gives almost as much freedom as Garry's Mod, I'm honest surprised not more people from FP are active in it. Might get back into it if I can get off my ass to be a productive part of it.

That physics trailer looked awesome, so I bought it. Shame the bedroom map is gone though, I loved the idea and would've enjoyed to play it.

Man, I remember the mod Return to Blockland that it had. So much creativity, one server started us off on a cruise ship, then something happened and we were all stranded on different islands (Depending on when we jumped off the ship).
I feel like a bunch of crazy race tracks could be made with the Speedkart game mode.
Like, tracks that are fleshed out enough to have special panels that can cause events when driven over, like opening up an alternate portion of the track, dropping bombs all over, etc.
Edit: I think it's the little kid in me, but I thought of a destroyed city racetrack that has an event that unleashes hordes of zombies everywhere.

You could probably do that if you made a modified version of speed-kart to include zone events. It'd be quite simple, actually.

I only quit like a year ago maybe less and yeah he was still a dick then
I suggested that he implement some changes to help modders who like making things work well for high-latency users and he told me to fuck off (literally, 'fuck off and stop trying to break my game' - asked for clientside raycasts so I could replicate the agile player serverside logic clientside so you can get a very high-speed clientside tick for really smooth movement regardless of latency, apparently this is as bad as writing aimbots in his eyes)
Far as I can tell he actually hates the people who make stuff for his game
