From The Depths v1 Create Your Own Millitary Fleet

From The Depths is a Early Access title currently on Steam. Because I am fucking terrible at making OP's,I will just paste the info on the storepage and post some screens:
Summary
In From the Depths you can build and take first-person command of battleships, planes, submarines, giant terrible geese, space ships, hot air balloons and more! The game is currently in open-alpha and contains a wide range of single player content including:
A creative mode allowing you to push your designs to the limit and ensure the total annihilation of your opponents.
A campaign waged over hundreds of islands against eight factions.
A Story Mode where you can (eventually!) play 15 missions as each of the eight factions - a fantastic mixture of strategy, design and wild battles! Defend your fleet against waves of enemy forces in a series of extremely tough challenges that unlock new components.
An expansive multiplayer and co-op element is planned for the coming months!
Key Features
Design and build your fleet, fortresses and structures however you want. The alpha currently has 225 unique components blocks, not including 19 different components for making missiles, torpedoes, depth charges and bombs.
The sky's the limit, you can equip your vehicle with - cannons, lasers, mines, bombs, missiles, torpedoes, propellers, rudders, jet engines, wings, hydrofoils, hot air balloons, anchors, fire control computers, blueprint spawners, repair bots, air pumps, automated control blocks and many, many more!
Realistic physics - every block destroyed or added affects the vehicle's functionality, physics and control. Drag, inertia tensors, buoyancy and sealed compartments are all updated based on the design of your vehicle and the damage sustained.
Be part of a fantastic community (www.fromthedepthsgame.com/forum), with new releases made on average twice a week. Community organised challenges and blueprint sharing make it an extremely friendly place to hang out!
Customisable Components
The customisable components in From the Depths allow a unique level of engineering customisation:
Design custom missiles, bombs, depth charges and torpedoes by combining various warheads types, fuse types, IR seekers, laser beam riders, laser designators, thrusters, navigation algorithms, fuel pods, sonar seekers, buoyancy compartments and propellers, to deliver a truly bespoke weapon.
Design custom cannons by combining four different barrel types and lengths with autoloaders, warhead types, ammo boxes and auxiliary components to create everything from AA cannons to howitzers.
Design custom AI by combing an AI mainframe with 'AI cards' slotted into motherboard blocks. Add radar detection, laser detection and tracking and local weapon controllers to give partial or full control to AI. Create anything from a fully AI controlled aircraft carrier to a battery powered drone.
Design custom engines using crank shafts, cylinders, carburetors, super chargers, exhausts and fuel injectors. Electric engines, generators and chargers are also available for backup power supplies and drones.
Similar systems exist for the creation of anti-vehicle and anti-missile lasers, as well as drills that can cut even the largest of battleships in half.
So yeah, the customization is out of this world. I've never seen anything like this game. You can buy it HERE
Bundlestars has a bundle with this game in it for a price lower than From The Depths itself. The bundle is over in 2,5 days at time of writing so be quick! http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/breakthrough-bundle/
If anyone has a better OP,please PM me. I am horrible at this stuff but I was amazed that there was no thread for this game yet.
I've been following the game since april, and it has come a long way.
Oh, and you may also be interested in the campaign overhaul coming this month, it will basically be one big central map without tile based area loading and all fleets will be simulated even when out of sight.

Might aswell throw some of my screenshots in here while I'm at it.

And if anyone wants the plane I made in the pictures above, here's a workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=299520961&searchtext=su-25
It looks like a really fun idea, but it looks like one of those games that on the surface seems really simple and fun but becomes a bit of a slog by how complicated it is in reality, a la, Dwarf Fortress.
I made a thread a while back in the video section;
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1423737&p=45953994#post45953994
And I haven't had the time to buy it and play around with it, but it looks fantastic.
This shit is amazing. I can't wait for proper multiplayer to be added so I can destroy my friends. Is there any ETA for that?
I like the gameplay ideas, but I gotta say the aesthetic, especially the block textures, is just dreadful. But it is alpha so that can be forgiven as long as they plan on changing it eventually.

The dev is a lone dev and made all the art by himself, but with the recent launch he got enough money to hire a artist, so give it a couple of months.
You had me at "drills that can cut even the largest of battleships in half"

HELL YES. Sorry about the all caps, but I can finally make my uber dreadnaught I've always wanted to!
Twenty dollars, out of my price range. My heart is shattered.
They didn't even try to make the textures tile.
If someone can gift me this, I swear as soon as I get twenty dollars I will gift you any game of equal value.
Hmm. I'll keep an eye on it, wouldn't buy right now for 20$ but wouldn't reject it either.
Wait theres sumbarines?

Oh god if I buy this game, I'm gonna spend the entirety of my playtime referencing Das Boot. I can feel it.
Gonna have to watch a few videos I think to get to grips with this game, I only know how to make a boat so far, and a simple cannon.
I want to build my Uber Dreadnaught. *Sadface*
I'm streaming this right now; www.twitch.tv/IchBinJager
Interesting, but not really $20 interesting. Especially because early access.

The amount of content and possibilities this game has can well push the game price over $40 at this state and still have it be worth the money big time, and how is early access bad? I know the dev and he is very motivated, listens to the community like no other and puts crazy goals to reach each month and executes them with crazy speed and above expected quality. He made the entire game by himself. I have spent over 300+ hours on this game so far and it only gets more fun every update.
This game is on the dwarf fortress / ss13 level of difficulty to explain to people that don't know about it, the video's do pretty well but it's a one of a kind game that you really need to experience yourself to fully understand the complexity and possibilities of.
Are there any more videos of gameplay or trailers? This game looks terribly interesting but I can't find much apart from 2 hours long videos on youtube, and skipping through those commentaries it is hard to grasp the feeling of the game.

How isn't early access bad?
Zero checks and balances at all. It gives devs no incentive to actually finish the game, etc.. And great, you know the dev, your anecdote isn't terribly important and I'm glad you have fun with this game. I however, would rather wait until the game is either incredibly close to release or actually released before I put money into it. You know who else was motivated, listened to the community and puts crazy goals to reach each month and executed them with crazy speed and above expected quality? Starbound devs, Notch, Cubeworld guy, the list continues. Just because someone is working hard now, doesn't mean they will later. I'm all for paying $30 or even $40 for this game on release.
Dicked around in the game a little.
Ships can take way too much damage before going down. You can practically rip off an entire side of the hull and it'll still be floating.

Starbound is a bad example, they are actually doing it.
The last update was in March, the next update is god knows when.
I'd buy this if it weren't so ugly. I hope it won't always be so ugly.
The last update was in March, the next update is god knows when.
There are regular patches on steam though? With new features and bug fixes for each?
The last one was on october first, where are you even getting march.

You wanna know why its taking so long? Hop on the nightlys for one minute and you'll know.
I would but it crashes everytime I try to launch the game.

Theres your answer
Looking at this, reminds me a bit of BattleshipCraft.
I loved that game until the devs pulled the plug on the online
